JBT Marel company Proseal has unveiled its new sealing optimization solution, the XTP Automatic Tray Sealer, designed for medium-sized production facilities.
Proseal says the new technology utilizes features such as airless sealing operations and electric actuators combined with high throughput capabilities to optimize sealing processes while maintaining flexibility in packaging formats.
With sealing speeds of up to 40 packages per minute for atmospheric sealing and 30 packages per minute for Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP), the XTP Automatic Tray Sealer aims to deliver performance and reliability to the mid-range market.
In similar news, Ishida Europe introduced its new QX-800 tray sealer in May, designed to increase throughput and tackle performance and efficiency challenges for tray sealing applications. Specifically developed for high-volume production lines, the machine offers various sealing options including seal only, gas flushing, stretch film and skinpack applications.
Last year EndFlex launched its Boxxer Wrap Around Case Packer, aiming to provide ‘unparalleled efficiency and versatility’ and use less corrugate than pre-formed cases. The packer is said to have increased security, protection and stability, with the wrap around method ensuring products are stable and less likely to shift or get damaged.
