Green Gate, the health and wellness brand famous for selling superfood blends and supplements has diversified into skincare, with design experts Parker Williams, part of the Sun Branding Solutions group, undertaking the packaging and brand design.
With the introduction of an organic skincare range, the brand took its first foray into health and beauty The new range is positioned as everyday indulgence and affordable beauty.
Jo Saker, Creative Director at Parker Williams explains; "Our brief was to create a visually distinctive packaging design for Green Gate Skincare taking learnings and design cues, from the health and beauty category whilst retaining the brand’s core visual equities and brand values.
An audit of the health and beauty category identified the design codes used within the sector and our learnings helped to visually define a premium yet affordable beauty positioning for the range."
A silver foil Green Gate logo helps to drive distinction from the core range of ‘wellness’ products, but still bears some similarity to those created by Parker Williams for the Green Gate Superfood range. The bright yet intricately crafted illustrations are punched out of a black label back drop and show the ingredient story for each product. The design is further enhanced with striking, ultra violet glass packaging used to protect and extend the shelf life of the ingredients.
The products use the finest ingredients from around the world and the brand is already one of the four top selling in Harrods' pharmacy and is also available in Green Gates’ first retail store in Arundel, West Sussex.
