WeighPack Systems has launched its Turnkey JuanaPack Pre‑Roll Multi‑Pack Jar Filling System in collaboration with Canapa Solutions, aiming to offer cannabis producers a fully automated solution for filling multi‑unit jars with precision‑handled pre‑rolls.

The system supports high‑volume operations that package pre‑rolls into rigid multi‑pack formats. Canapa Solutions says the new system incorporates pre‑roll check weighing, inspection, and automated conveyance prior to final packaging.

Dual turntables manage jar unscrambling and accumulation to ensure a consistent, uninterrupted flow into the filling stage, reduce manual intervention and improve overall line reliability for producers. The multi-pack configuration is engineered accurately load pre‑rolls into jars while preserving product quality and uniform presentation.

Combining automated handling with precise indexing, the system is said to support a variety of pre‑roll sizes and pack counts. WeighPack Systems states that its integrated design enables producers to scale without compromising the ‘premium appearance’ expected in multi‑unit retail packaging.

The company adds that when integrated with upstream systems such as the JuanaRoll and Vision360, pre‑rolls are weighed, filled, and inspected prior to entering the jar‑filling stage, ensuring only compliant products reach final packaging. The new system aims to offer a modular, scalable setup with a ‘dependable’ solution for high‑volume jar packaging lines, said to enable better production consistency and improved labour efficiency.

Canapa Solutions by Paxiom announced its Vision360 automated inspection system specifically for cannabis pre-rolls last year, said to reduce manual labour and improve throughput. The system rapidly processes and inspects joints with ‘zero compromise’ on accuracy or speed, and can adjust inspection criteria to align with specific brand quality goals or regulatory compliance.

In related news, WeighPack Systems unveiled its High-Speed Rigid Container Weigh Filling System, said to deliver ‘unmatched’ performance, accuracy, and line integration. The new system reportedly achieves speeds of up to 150 rigid containers per minute while ensuring gentle handling and precise weight accuracy.
