Coca-Cola Canada is selling limited-edition cans inspired by the FIFA World Cup 2026, through which football fans can enter a sweepstakes to win one of five real footballs used in the tournament.

To enter the competition, consumers are encouraged to buy their drink in a limited-edition can. Every design is inspired by a country participating in the World Cup: Germany, France, Mexico, Brazil, the United States, and New Zealand.

Each can will feature a unique code, which consumers can scan to add the design to their online collection. This corresponds with an entry into the FIFA World Cup 26 Collectible Country Cans Sweepstakes.

Up to eight cans can be registered per consumer, but participants can scan up to seven additional cans to unlock bonus entries and better their chances of winning:

Cans Scanned   Bonus Entries
 1 additional can
 3 additional cans
 5 additional cans 10
 7 additional cans 20

Five winners will receive an official Adidas Trionda ball used in a World Cup match: Canada vs. Bosnia and Herzegovina (12 June 2026), Senegal vs. France (16 June 2026), England vs. Croatia (17 June 2026), Germany vs. Ivory Coast (20 June 2026), and Jordan vs Argentina (27 June 2026).

This schedule reflects known matchups as of 4 May 2026, but may change in accordance with the tournament’s progress.

Every ball will be presented in a premium display case. Winners will also receive a video brochure featuring match highlights, a microfibre towel, a colour insert card, and a FIFA Certificate of Authenticity.

Participants must be legal residents of Canada and 18+ years old as of the date of entry. The competition will end on 31 July 2026.

Other FIFA-themed packaging campaigns include PepsiCo’s limited-edition thermochromic cans that change colour at the ‘optimal’ drinking temperature. Fans that find one of 150,000 ‘Perfect Chilled’ cans will win exclusive prizes, including £5,000 in cash towards a home entertainment bundle, football tickets, Pepsi Football Nation merchandise and Pepsi vouchers.

Coca-Cola North America has also joined forces with Panini America to distribute World Cup-themed stickers under peel-back labels on Coca-Cola bottles. Each sticker features a football player from ten countries participating in this year’s competition; these can be inserted into a dedicated Coca-Cola page in the Official FIFA World Cup 2026 Sticker Album, or scanned with a smartphone to build a digital sticker album in the Panini Digital App.
