Kocktail, an award-winning small-batch cocktail brand, has launched Kocktail Glass – a new addition to its ready-to-drink range.

The company says that the pack for its new range is designed to be kept and reused, and also states that the product is exempt from the UK’s upcoming Deposit Return Scheme for single-use plastic bottles and cans, which is set to launch on the 1st of October 2027.

The product’s packaging and contents are being positioned as a high-end offering; using premium, high-ABV spirits like “the Father of Bourbon”, Elijah Craig Small Batch, as well as Hepple Gin, Asterley Bros and Cazcabel.

The goal for Kocktails is to offer consumers access to these expensive, sought-after brands without the need to invest in a full bottle. The company believes that consumers are increasingly seeking clear value and justification when making purchasing decisions like this.

Now worth roughly €735 billion, the global RTD category is one of the fastest growing beverage formats – a 30% rise in terms of sales volume was reported in 2025 in the UK alone. Most of these are packaged in aluminium, but challenger brands are constantly seeking to differentiate themselves by opting for more novel packaging formats.

At the other end of the spectrum from Kocktails’ offering, BuzzBallz’s iconic spherical packaging has recently been under fire for its unrecyclability. The crucial difference between the two packs is that the two constituent elements of the Kocktail pack appear to be easily separable – this is not the case with BuzzBallz.

Kocktail Glass launches with a line-up of three standard-size (100ml) cocktails in ready-to-drink glasses: Negroni, Old Fashioned and Margarita.

Andrew Hutchinson, Co-Founder at Kocktail, says: “At Kocktail we’ve spent the last five years proudly taking every decision to ensure our drinks are the best on the market. From mixing everything in house, by hand, to trialing and tweaking every ingredient and recipe until we hit the perfect serve.

“We always wanted to enable our loyal customers to pick up a Kocktail for under £10 but we find that every time we see a cocktail in a can, or a pouch, we just wish it was in a glass, with ice and a lovely garnish and all the ceremony that surrounds that. We think a cocktail should be an experience and we think our beautiful new Kocktail glasses really deliver on that.”
