Coors Light has announced a limited-edition ‘Tallerboy’ extended can, featuring an elongated name and said to hold and chill three full Coors Light cans at once.
The new can is designed for celebratory sports moments and is part of the company’s ‘The Coooors Call’ campaign, built around football fans stretching their cheers with more ‘Os’ and longer calls for bigger celebrations. The brand launched the campaign earlier this season, featuring soccer announcer Andrés Cantor, known for his “GOOOOAL!” cheer.
Coors Light rolled out a national TV and digital advertising campaign including limited-release football themed packaging, in-stadium activation and a nationwide consumer promotion inviting fans to submit their own Coors Call for the chance to win beer money.
“The Tallerboy is everything ‘The Cooors Call’ stands for, brought to life in physical form,” said Matt Carpenter, vice president of Marketing at Coors Light. “Extra long celebrations deserve something that allows you to hold onto those game moments a little longer, and Tallerboy does exactly that — three cans, one canister and a whole lot of extra Os.”
125 Coooors Light Tallerboys were made available exclusively at shop.coorslight.com for $30 in June and are currently sold out.
