With thousands of international operators, more than 2700 exhibitors from all over the world and 175,000 visitors, Interpack (Düsseldorf, from 4 to 10 May 2017) is the most important trade exhibition in the packaging and associated industries sector.

This is where some of the sector's leading protagonists meet to anticipate trends, present new developments and consider partnerships and commercial developments. And this is the scenario chosen by Makro Labelling, one of the most important industrial labeller manufacturers, to present a major new development and its complete range of linear labellers with rotary-level performance designed for the pharmaceutical, detergents, home and personal care and beverages sectors.

The undisputed protagonist on the Makro Labelling stand (Hall 13/D13) will be the new MAKLINE ROLL FEED, dedicated specifically to the water and soft drinks market. A high technical and technological development, the MAKLINE ROLL FEED previewed at Interpack stands out for its safe top-performance labelling assembly, equivalent to the one used on the rotary machines from which it derives, and motorised axles with brushless motors (and not gears and chains). Fruit of specific requests from the Southeast Asian and Indian markets, the MAKLINE ROLL FEED has been developed with a view to standardising products, guaranteeing high production capacity and above all minimising costs. It guarantees a production speed of between 6000 and 16,000 b/h.

Also on the Makro Labelling stand will be a double-station self-adhesive MAKLINE, destined for packing food oil and adaptable to both large and small containers. Although this is a linear labeller and therefore designed for a specific market with a given product range, the very high labelling quality of the MAKLINE is in every way similar to that of a rotary labeller. Direct application of a maximum of 2/3 elements per bottle, quick tool-free format change (only the parts need adjusting), ease of use, maximum production flexibility and low costs make it the perfect machine for all those with limited production needs, or for contract manufacturers producing a great range of containers.

"For Makro Labelling, taking part in Interpack for the first time is vitally important, allowing us to approach new sectors and new markets. We therefore decided to present here a new concept linear machine in which we have capitalised on all our experience in constructing top quality rotary machines and our innovative design capabilities, fruit of constant research and development. After Interpack, we will continue 2017 with a presence at the most important international trade exhibitions: Fispal in San Paolo Brazil from 27 to 30 June, DrinkTec in Munich from 11 to 15 September and, finally, Pack Expo in Las Vegas, from 25 to 27 September. Three important occasions to meet and exchange views, where we will present our complete range of industrial labellers and continue with our idea of development", explains Massimo Manzotti, President and Sales Director of Makro Labelling.
