In this edition of The Spotlight, Korozo Flexibles has partnered with Henkel to introduce a fully recyclable stand-up pouch for their premium automatic dishwashing product Somat Excellence.
Korozo’s mono-material, fully recyclable film with special features such as easy opening and a metallic effect is converted into a pouch at Henkel. The certified recyclable premium flexible packaging is now in stores in Germany.
Marcel Daube, International Packaging Development at Henkel, said: “With the implementation of mono-material stand-up pouches for our flagship automatic dishwashing product Somat Excellence, we are taking the next step towards our Henkel sustainability targets, designing 100% of our packaging for recycling.”
This new mono-material film by Korozo Flexibles can be processed on form-fill-seal lines with excellent heat resistance and stiffness and it is tailor-made to meet the customer’s precise needs.
