Korozo’s mono-material, fully recyclable film with special features such as easy opening and a metallic effect is converted into a pouch at Henkel. The certified recyclable premium flexible packaging is now in stores in Germany.
Marcel Daube, International Packaging Development at Henkel, said: “With the implementation of mono-material stand-up pouches for our flagship automatic dishwashing product Somat Excellence, we are taking the next step towards our Henkel sustainability targets, designing 100% of our packaging for recycling.”
This new mono-material film by Korozo Flexibles can be processed on form-fill-seal lines with excellent heat resistance and stiffness and it is tailor-made to meet the customer’s precise needs.
Korozo Nonfood Flexibles Business Unit Director Selin Bahar Meşulam said: “Customer First and Sustainability are among our core values at Korozo. We reaffirmed our values when our dedicated team partnered with Henkel to meet the requirements towards our mutual sustainability target of having 100% recyclable or reusable packaging.”
