The £4.5 million packaging distributor fits very well with Kite’s branch focus on major customers requiring service-and-solutions.

Kite Packaging has officially announced the acquisition of Brooks Packaging – a £4.5 million, North London-based packaging distributor.

Founded in 1967 by Jeffrey Horwood, Brooks Packaging has grown to a £4.5 million sales business under his son, Nick.  The business has a blue chip customer base and is the market leader in the supply of archive boxes.

Bruce McInnes, Kite’s Chairman commented: “Brooks Packaging fits very well with Kite’s branch focus on major customers requiring service-and-solutions. Brooks Packaging will now be able to offer its large customers access to Kite’s comprehensive range of standard packaging as well as Kite’s compliance scheme. In addition, Kite’s technical support teams – stretch film and in-the-box solutions – will be available to Brooks Packaging to support future sales growth. Within Kite itself, we are also excited at the opportunities, especially in our internet business.
