The autumn 2017 has proven successful for A&R Carton when it comes innovation. During these months the company has received not one, but six prizes for packaging designs and functions. In addition to The German Design Award, Scanstar and German Packaging Award, the big winner is the child-proof packaging Sileo being awarded a WorldStar. We are very proud of these achievements and our innovative packaging development team.
WorldStar 2018 winner - the child-proof packaging for Sileo
The child-proof packaging developed for Orion Pharmaceuticals and produced by A&R Carton Oy. It is a one-piece packaging which is clever, simple and elegant and made from mono-material. The functionally, usability and green values are state of the art.

The Sileo packaging has also received the ScanStar 2017 award and The German Design Award 2018.
German Packaging Award in Packaging presentation for Tenz innovative screws
The Peek Box is an innovative packaging from A&R Carton Graz for a new high-tech screw. An excellently packaging design where the screw head serves as a knob to open the sliding fold-up installation packaging. This makes the consumer curious enough to want to interact with the packaging. At the same time, the packaging allows the screw to be rotated without needing to change position. The packaging emphasises the innovative quality of the product and is impressive as a giveaway with its presentation effect, stability and an additional tactile effect through the embossed company logo.
The German Design Award 2018 in the Excellent Communications Design Packaging category for My.VON ERL Starterpack
To underline the modern simplicity and the high technological quality of the product, an elegant, premium looking packaging was developed. The box needed to contain several components in an orderly fashion, thus a smart insert was a vital part of the structural design. That’s how the book style opening with an integrated extension system was born. To also ensure an easy opening the slipcase is to be opened with a lid-flap using special technics to also make it a solid construction.
The German Design Award 2018 in the Excellent Communications Design Packaging category for Sloggi Men "Match"
Sloggi’s Men “Match” packaging adds to the consumer experience by providing an easy opening and reclosable pack design. Consumers can view and examine the packed product in store, but not remove it, and then close the packaging again without damaging it. The problem of having damaged, destroyed or partially empty packs in the shop has been eliminated through this new innovative design.
