The IKEA PÅTÅR coffee range has been awarded first place in The Dieline Awards - ‘Non-Alcoholic Beverages’ category.

Now in its eighth year, The Dieline Awards formally recognizes the best in consumer product packaging design worldwide, highlighting the value of packaging design for brands in today’s world. As one of the most prestigious and competitive design accolades in the industry, many see The Dieline Awards as a benchmark for well-designed packaging of consumer products.

IKEA carefully designed the packaging of the PÅTÅR range, using Swedish names and Scandinavian traditions to create stories within the design. PÅTÅR is a typical Swedish expression and means to have a second cup of coffee which is reflected throughout the ranges simple, joyful packaging design.

The PÅTÅR range is made up of brand new IKEA coffee products that include espresso coffee, medium roast and coffee beans that have recently been launched in IKEA stores around the globe as part of the IKEA FOOD offering.  The IKEA PÅTÅR coffee range was created as a result of an IKEA Social Entrepreneurs and Social Business initiative in the White Nile region, Uganda. The initiative aims to increase crop quality, increasing demand and helping local economies to grow.
