Until now, Swedish packaging concept company JakeBox has been mostly known in the UK for high-end custom printed examples of their eye-catching pop-up packaging concept for discs.

Unbranded stock versions of the product have been available in smaller quantities and very popular among smaller companies, consumers and bands outside the UK. To cater for UK customers, JakeBox now opens a UK hub for these products.
"We have had many inquiries from the UK in recent years", says JakeBox German sales executive Katrin Oswald, "but having our main storage in Germany has made the total cost, including shipping, a bit too high. So opening a hub in UK is definitely a step in the right direction".
Dean Underwood of HDC Media, who is in charge of the UK hub, agrees completely.
"Custom printed JakeBoxes have been a favourite among our customers for a long time. But since the minimum order for custom print is 1000 units, many can't afford it. The unbranded stock products are a very welcome addition, since it enables us to offer this ingenious concept in smaller volumes too."
Stock JakeBoxes come in black and white, CD and DVD size, and with an optional die-cut window on the front, that shows booklets or other inserted designs.
